The project aims to address the questions of representation of the past through the lens of the creative and artistic practices. Our present, saturated with the information flows facilitated by the new technologies, consists of the intertwined images of the past, reappearing myths, reconstructed collective memories and individual fantasies. According to Andreas Huyssen the contemporary crisis of memory characterised by the disconnection between experience and memory gives a “a powerful stimulant for cultural and artistic creativity.”
